Secare Typeface

"Secare" SA-KA-REE - was a project aimed at creating an elegant, easy-to-read stencil serif typeface capable of use in a wide range of applications such as magazine covers, headline copy, poster headlines, and product placement assets. This typeface utilizes a disconnected theme with straight edges complimented with sharp diagonals to draw the viewer's eye and create tension.

Below you will see the real material book complimentary to the typeface design. I wanted the content printed on velum sheets to utilize a modern, unexpected juxtaposition with the main letter characters as well as create an unexpected nuance with the reader on the "A" and "Q".
